Cavaliers seek to end trip with a win

Jan 20, 2007 - 8:56 PM Cleveland (23-16) at Golden State (19-21) 10:30 pm EST

OAKLAND, California (Ticker) -- The Cleveland Cavaliers started their seven-game West Coast trip on a positive note, but it has been pretty much downhill since.

After losing three straight to slip to 2-4 on their trip, the Cavaliers will visit the new-look Golden State Warriors on Saturday.

Cleveland has averaged just 90.3 points in its last three losses.

LeBron James, who is averaging 26.8 points per game this season, has been steady in the three losses, averaging 27 points. He scored 30 as part of a triple-double in Friday's 110-99 setback at Denver.

The Warriors play their first game after a blockbuster trade with the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday. Golden State acquired forward Al Harrington, swingman Stephen Jackson, guard Sarunas Jasikevicius and forward Josh Powell from the Pacers for forwards Mike Dunleavy, Troy Murphy and Ike Diogu and guard Keith McLeod.

Harrington is averaging 15.9 points per game and Jackson is averaging 14.1 points. They will have to pick up the slack for guard Baron Davis, who was suspended by the NBA for taking a swing at Los Angeles Clippers forward Quinton Ross late in Wednesday's loss.
