Suns aim to extend win streak to 15

NEW YORK (Ticker) - The Phoenix Suns look for their second 15-game winning streak of the season on Wednesday night they visit the New York Knicks.

Phoenix started its latest winning streak with a 108-86 victory over the Knicks on December 29.

The Suns ran off a franchise-record 15-game winning streak from November 20 to December 22. They have won an astounding 30 of their last 32 games.

On Tuesday, the Suns exacted a measure of revenge against the Washington Wizards with a 127-105 victory. Washington had ended Phoenix's first 15-game winning streak.

Steve Nash had 27 points and 14 assists to pace the Suns in the win over the Wizards. Phoenix held a 41-20 lead at the half, extending it 76-51 at the break.

The Knicks could be without former Sun Stephon Marbury, who is battling soreness in his knee. The point guard has played in all 43 games for the Knicks this season.

Eddy Curry scored 26 points and Jamal Crawford netted 23 as the Knicks suffered a 101-83 loss at Miami on Monday. The Knicks saw the Heat run off 27 straight points at one juncture in the first quarter.
