Kings hope to carry momentum into contest vs. Bucks

Jan 24, 2007 - 5:39 PM Milwaukee (17-23) at Sacramento (16-23) 10:00 pm EST

SACRAMENTO, California (Ticker) -- Mike Bibby and the Sacramento Kings needed to scrap and claw to escape their last contest with a win. They hope to have an easier time against the injury-ravaged Milwaukee Bucks.

The Kings shoot for their third win in four games Wednesday when they host the lowly Bucks.

Despite facing a 20-point deficit, Sacramento rallied for an 88-87 victory over the New Jersey Nets on Monday.

Ron Artest scored 22 points while Bibby added 16, including the game-winning jumper, for the Kings, who snapped a four-game skid at home.

Sacramento figures to have less trouble handling the Bucks, who are still without injured starters Michael Redd (knee), Mo Williams (shoulder) and Charlie Villanueva (shoulder).

Milwaukee has lost four straight and nine of their last 10, including a 115-96 road loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday.

Charlie Bell scored 24 points for the Bucks, who have dropped seven of their last eight road games.
