Bosh, Raptors aim for fourth straight win

Jan 27, 2007 - 3:41 PM Toronto (22-22) at Indiana (22-20) 7:00 pm EST

INDIANAPOLIS (Ticker) -- The surging Toronto Raptors will try and do something they have failed to accomplish all season.

The Raptors search for their first four-game winning streak of the campaign when they face the Indiana Pacers on Saturday.

Chris Bosh backed up his All-Star selection with 26 points and eight rebounds as Toronto posted a 96-90 triumph over the Boston Celtics on Friday. The Raptors improved to 9-5 this month.

On Thursday, Bosh was voted to his second All-Star Game - first as a starter. The 6-10 forward is averaging 22.1 points and 11 rebounds this season.

The win marked the first time since November 8 the Raptors have been able to reach .500. Most importantly, they lead the New Jersey Nets by 1 1/2 games in the lowly Atlantic Division.

Indiana picked up its second consecutive win with Wednesday's 96-94 overtime victory over the Miami Heat. Troy Murphy and Jermaine O'Neal each collected double-doubles in the win.

Murphy is averaging 11.3 points and 10.3 rebounds since being acquired from Golden State in an eight-player deal on January 17. The Pacers are 2-1 since the trade.
