Randolph, Trail Blazers finish road trip vs. Hornets

OKLAHOMA CITY (Ticker) -- Zach Randolph and the Portland Trail Blazers hope to build off their thrilling win.

The Trail Blazers look to end their three-game road trip on a winning note Monday when they visit the New Orleans Hornets.

Randolph has been outstanding of late, averaging 23.2 points over his last 12 games.

The 6-9 forward delivered the finest performance of his six-year career Saturday, scoring a career-high 42 points and grabbing 12 rebounds in a 135-132 double-overtime victory over the Memphis Grizzlies.

Rookie Brandon Roy had 16 points and six assists and Jarrett Jack added 13 and five for Portland, which has won five of its last eight games.

The Hornets are coming off Saturday's 94-83 upset of the Utah Jazz, the top team in the Northwest Division.

Reserve Bobby Jackson scored a season-high 21 points and handed out five assists and Desmond Mason added 20 and five rebounds for the Hornets, who have won two straight and have a chance to win three consecutive home games for the first time this season.

Portland won its first two games this season vs. the Hornets, including a 100-85 triumph on December 27.
