Bulls begin long road trip against surging Clippers

LOS ANGELES (Ticker) -- The road has not been kind to the Chicago Bulls this season.

The Bulls begin a seven-game road trip Wednesday when they visit the Los Angeles Clippers.

Chicago is just 6-13 away from United Center, including a season-high six-game skid from November 14-24. All six of those losses came during the Bulls seven-game road trip from November 14-25.

Despite their road woes, the Bulls have won their last three contests, capped by Saturday's 100-97 victory over the defending champion Miami Heat.

Ben Gordon scored 36 points and Kirk Hinrich added 24 for Chicago, which shot 42 percent (32-of-76).

Elton Brand scored 22 points and Sam Cassell netted 21 to lead the Clippers to a 98-76 triumph over the Seattle SuperSonics on Sunday.

Los Angeles has won five of its last six games and looks to climb above the .500 mark for the first time since December 5.
