Kings seek fifth straight win

Feb 10, 2007 - 5:48 PM Sacramento (21-26) at Seattle (18-31) 10:00 pm EST

SEATTLE (Ticker) -- The Sacramento Kings look to extend their winning streak to a season-high five games when they visit the Seattle SuperSonics on Saturday.

Despite lurking at the bottom of the Pacific Division, Sacramento has won four straight, including an 86-77 home victory over Chicago on Thursday. Kevin Martin scored 29 points and starting backcourt mate Mike Bibby added 21 for the Kings.

Ron Artest had 10 points and eight rebounds and Brad Miller grabbed 12 boards for Sacramento, which held Chicago to 33 percent (34-of-102) shooting.

It's the first time the Kings have won four in a row since the middle of November. Sacramento hasn't won five straight since March 2006

The Sonics snapped a 15-game road losing streak with a 103-102 victory over Indiana on Wednesday. Ray Allen scored 33 points and handed out nine assists and Chris Wilcox added 17 points for Seattle, which also snapped a five-game slide overall.

The Kings have a chance to beat the SuperSonics for a fifth straight time, something that hasn't happened since they won seven straight over Seattle from February 16 1985 to March 27, 1986.

The teams meet again at Arco Arena on Sunday.
