Allen, Sonics go for revenge in home-and-home series vs. Kings

Feb 11, 2007 - 2:26 PM Seattle (18-32) at Sacramento (22-26) 9:00 pm EST

SACRAMENTO, California (Ticker) -- This time around, the Seattle SuperSonics will try and avoid a repeat performance.

The lowly SuperSonics will finish up their home-and-home series against the surging Sacramento Kings when they meet Sunday.

On Saturday, the Kings picked up their fifth straight win with an effortless 114-93 victory at KeyArena behind Kevin Martin, who lead the charge with 26 points.

Despite the loss, Seattle saw the return of forward Rashard Lewis, who had missed 22 game with a torn tendon in his right hand. He scored 14 points on just 2-of-11 shooting.

"I felt like I missed some easy shots that I normally make and that comes with timing and rhythm," Lewis said. "I'm sure I will make those (Sunday)."

Ray Allen scored 29 points for Seattle, which will go in search of back-to-back road wins after losing a franchise-record 17 in a row from November 18 to February 7.

Sacramento center Brad Miller missed Saturday's loss and will be out until after the All-Star break to rest his partially torn fascia in his left foot.
