Bucks hoping for Redd to return

Feb 20, 2007 - 1:48 PM Detroit (32-19) at Milwaukee (19-34) 8:00 pm EST

MILWAUKEE (Ticker) -- The Milwaukee Bucks have struggled since Michael Redd went down with a knee injury. The Bucks hope to get their star guard back on Tuesday when they host the Detroit Pistons.

Milwaukee is 3-17 since Redd suffered a left knee injury in a January 5 contest against Cleveland.

The Pistons had won seven straight games before getting derailed right before the All-Star break, losing 90-81 to the San Antonio Spurs last Wednesday.

Richard Hamilton had 20 points to lead Detroit and Chauncey Billups scored 16 of his 19 points in the second half.

The Bucks were pounded by Boston, 117-97, last Wednesday, ending the Celtics' franchise-record 18-game losing streak.

The teams have split their first two games this season. Billups had 45 points and 16 assists in the two games. Redd tallied 37 in Milwaukee's win, but did not play in the February 2 loss.
