Bulls look for 10th straight win over Hawks

Feb 20, 2007 - 2:05 PM Atlanta (21-31) at Chicago (29-25) 8:30 pm EST

CHICAGO (Ticker) -- The Chicago Bulls have been stumbling lately, which means they will be glad to see the Atlanta Hawks.

The Bulls, just 1-5 in their last six contests, look for their 10th straight win over the Hawks on Tuesday.

Chicago was beaten by the lowly Charlotte Bobcats, 100-85, last Wednesday. Ben Gordon, who is averaging a career-high 21.2 points a game, led the Bulls with 20 points.

Gordon scored 23 points in Chicago's 106-104 triumph over the Hawks on December 16, and scored 12 in a 94-86 victory over Atlanta on January 23.

Atlanta has won three of four after a 96-93 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday. Joe Johnson, whose 25.2 scoring average is 10th in the league, led the Hawks with 27 points.

Johnson, who scored 12 points in 17 minutes of Sunday's All-Star Game, is averaging 26 points in his two games against the Bulls this season.
