Nash returns for Suns Tuesday
Feb 20, 2007 - 10:02 PM Phoenix (39-13) at LA Clippers (25-28) 10:30 pm ESTLOS ANGELES (Ticker) -- Steve Nash is coming back at the perfect time for the Phoenix Suns.
The Suns try to snap a three-game losing streak when they visit the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday.
Nash missed four games after suffering a sore right shoulder in a 113-108 win over the Denver Nuggets on February 4. The league's Most Valuable Player the last two seasons, Nash is averaging a league-high 11.8 assists per game.
The Suns, who have winning streaks of 15 and 17 games this season, have not lost four straight contests since November 3-9. One of the four defeats was a 114-108 loss to the Clippers on November 4.
The Clippers, who are 1-6 in their last seven games, also look to avoid their fourth straight loss. Leading scorer Elton Brand (20.7 points a game) has missed the last two games with back spasms.
Brand is expected to suit up against the Suns.
