Warriors seek revenge against Grizzlies

Feb 21, 2007 - 4:24 PM Memphis (14-41) at Golden State (25-29) 10:30 pm EST

OAKLAND, California (Ticker) -- It could be a mismatch when the Golden State Warriors host the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday.

The Warriors are 19-9 at home this season while the Grizzlies are a league-worst 3-24 on the road.

Golden State is one-half game out of the final playoff spot in the Western Conference. It starts the second half of the season without leading scorer Baron Davis.

Averaging 20.7 points a game, Davis underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee on February 13 and is out indefinitely.

The Warriors should come into the game motivated. They surrendered a season-high in points in a 144-135 loss at Memphis on January 3. Matt Barnes, averaging 10.9 points a game, scored a season-high 36 in the loss.

Memphis' Mike Miller, averaging 17.9 points a game, poured in a season-high 33 in the victory. Miller scored 20 in the Grizzlies' 121-105 loss to the Seattle SuperSonics on Tuesday.
