Jazz look to keep rolling against reeling Celtics

Feb 24, 2007 - 5:12 PM Boston (13-40) at Utah (35-18) 9:00 pm EST

SALT LAKE CITY (Ticker) -- Despite adding one All-Star and subtracting another, the Utah Jazz continue to roll.

Winners of seven of their last eight games, the Jazz take on the Boston Celtics, who have lost 20 of their last 21 games, on Saturday.

All-Star Carlos Boozer, who fractured his left leg on January 27, missed only eight games and returned to the lineup on Friday. Boozer scored 10 points in 12 minutes for Utah in a 114-104 win at Denver on Friday. The Jazz went 6-2 without Boozer.

Utah beat the Nuggets despite not having All-Star center Mehmet Okur, who experienced back stiffness during warmups.

After a franchise-record 18-game losing streak, the Celtics ended their skid with a home win over Milwaukee on February 14.

Since then, they have dropped two games on their West Cost trip, including a 122-96 blowout loss at the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday. Al Jefferson had 18 points and eight rebounds and Paul Pierce scored 15 points.
