Bryant, Lakers look for second straight win
Feb 25, 2007 - 6:20 PM LA Lakers (31-25) at Golden State (26-30) 6:00 pm ESTOAKLAND, California (Ticker) -- Superstar Kobe Bryant and the LosAngeles Lakers would like to string together some wins.Bryant hopes to guide the Lakers to their second straight winSunday when they face the Golden State Warriors.The reigning scoring champ, Bryant netted 22 of his 38 points inthe first quarter as Los Angeles stopped a season-high six-gamelosing streak with a 122-96 triumph over Boston on Saturday."Phil (Jackson) told me to be aggressive to start the ballgameand need me to assert myself a little bit," Bryant said. "Hewanted me to do that and I was able to do it."The Lakers will play six of their next seven games on the road,where they are just 11-16 this season.Golden State is coming off Saturday's 103-90 setback to the LosAngeles Clippers.
