Magic aim to halt four-game losing streak

Feb 26, 2007 - 2:46 PM Orlando (27-30) at Chicago (32-26) 8:30 pm EST

CHICAGO (Ticker) -- The Orlando Magic seek to snap a four-game losing streak when they visit the Chicago Bulls on Sunday.

The skid has dropped the Magic into an eighth-place tie with New Jersey for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

All-Star Dwight Howard can't be blamed for the skid. He has averaged 24 points and 14 rebounds in his last three games.

The Bulls won at Cleveland on Friday, but lost at Detroit, 95-93, on Sunday. Center Ben Wallace grabbed eight rebounds in his return to Detroit, but had difficulty containing Chris Webber, who converted a game-winning follow shot with 2.2 seconds left and finished with 21 points.

The 6-9 Wallace left Motown in the offseason, signing a four-year, $60 million deal to become the anchor in the middle of the Chicago defense. He finished with six points and two blocks.
