Suns can complete road sweep of East teams
Feb 28, 2007 - 3:37 PM Phoenix (44-13) at Philadelphia (19-38) 7:00 pm ESTPHILADELPHIA (Ticker) -- The Phoenix Suns can complete an unprecedented road sweep of Eastern Conference teams when they face the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday.
Phoenix won its 14th consecutive road game over an Eastern squad by erasing an 18-point third-quarter deficit en route to a 103-92 victory over Indiana on Tuesday.
Steve Nash collected 25 points and 11 assists and Amare Stoudemire added 23 and 18 rebounds for the Suns, who are 23-3 overall against Eastern Conference teams.
The 76ers have lost five of their last seven games, but are coming off an 89-82 victory over Sacramento on Monday.
Samuel Dalembert collected 20 points and 17 rebounds, Andre Iguodala scored 22 points and Andre Miller had 18, six rebounds and six assists.
