Feb 28, 2007 - 4:01 PM Atlanta (22-35) at New Orleans (27-30) 8:00 pm EST

OKLAHOMA CITY (Ticker) -- The New Orleans Hornets seek to complete a season sweep of the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday.

New Orleans is one-half game behind the Los Angeles Clippers for the final Western Conference playoff spot and can ill afford a loss to the Hawks.

The Hornets posted a 96-77 win at Atlanta in the first meeting on January 10. Jannero Pargo scored 24 points and Rasual Butler added 21.

New Orleans is coming off a 97-89 loss to Cleveland. The Hornets have gone 15-8 over the last six weeks and resurrected their playoff hopes due mainly to the returns of David West and Chris Paul from injury.

West has averaged 27 points over the last three games and Paul is dishing out just under nine assists per game to lead the team.

Tyson Chandler scored 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the loss to Cleveland.

The Atlanta Hawks have lost three of four games during a tough stretch against Western Conference powers San Antonio, Houston, Phoenix and Dallas.

Joe Johnson led the Hawks with 29 points and center Zaza Pachulia added 24 and nine rebounds in a 110-87 loss to Dallas.
