Bobcats look for first win on six-game West Coast trip
Mar 1, 2007 - 4:48 PM Charlotte (22-36) at Portland (24-34) 10:00 pm ESTPORTLAND, Oregon (Ticker) - The struggling Charlotte Bobcats look for their first win on a six-game road trip when they face the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday.
The Bobcats fell to 0-2 on their trip after a 135-120 setback to the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday. Gerald Wallace had 31 points, nine assists and four steals for Charlotte.
Zach Randolph collected 40 points and nine rebounds to lead Portland to a 108-100 victory at Charlotte on February 8.
The Trail Blazers hold a 5-1 record in the all-time series, with their lone defeat coming here on February 22, 2006.
Portland is coming off a 97-73 loss to Seattle on Monday. Travis Outlaw led the Trail Blazers with just 14 points.
