Rookie Bargnani celebrates Rookie of the Month honors

TORONTO (Ticker) -- Andrea Bargnani was honored as the Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month on Thursday. Bargnani and the first-place Toronto Raptors will host the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday.

The No. 1 overall pick in the 2007 draft, Bargnani scored 20 points, including four 3-pointers, in a 106-90 win over Houston on Wednesday.

Toronto holds a four-game lead over New Jersey in the Atlantic Division.

The Milwaukee Bucks are coming off back-to-back wins over Philadelphia and Golden State. Michael Redd led the Bucks with 31 points in a 122-101 win over the Warriors on Tuesday.
