Billups, Pistons look to rebound vs. lowly Grizzlies

Mar 3, 2007 - 5:38 PM MEMPHIS, Tennessee (Ticker) -- The Eastern Conference-leading Detroit Pistons can take their frustration out in this one.

The Pistons will look to complete their season series sweep of the struggling Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday.

Detroit has swept the season series away from Memphis four of the past five campaigns. The Grizzlies won both games during the 2004-05 season.

The Pistons had their four-game winning streak snapped with Friday's 85-82 defeat at Miami. Tayshaun Prince collected 22 points and seven rebounds in the loss.

Reigning Eastern Conference Player of the Month Chauncey Billups hopes to rebound from his dismal 2-of-14 shooting performance on Friday. He finished with just nine points.

Despite 31 points and 13 rebounds from Pau Gasol, Memphis still dropped its third straight game, a 117-112 overtime decision at Philadelphia.

The Grizzlies have lost six of their last seven games.

In the first matchup, All-Star Richard Hamilton scored 24 points to lead five players in double figures for the Pistons in a 95-86 victory in the Motor City on November 4.
