Boozer, Jazz search for sixth straight win
Mar 10, 2007 - 6:08 PM New Orleans (28-34) at Utah (42-19) 9:00 pm ESTSALT LAKE CITY (Ticker) -- All-Star Carlos Boozer and the Utah Jazz are riding high. But the same cannot be said for the New Orleans Hornets.
The Jazz shoot for their sixth straight win Saturday when they host the slumping Hornets, who are hoping to avoid their fifth consecutive loss.
Utah continued its push forward with its 13th triumph in 15 games with Wednesday's 94-72 over the Indiana Pacers, as Boozer registered his 36th double-double.
With their postseason hopes fading, the Hornets dropped the ball once again with their four straight loss on Friday, a 104-103 setback at Phoenix.
New Orleans is just 1 1/2 games behind the Los Angeles Clippers (29-32) for the eighth and final spot in the Western Conference standings.
