Bosh, Raptors host SuperSonics

Mar 11, 2007 - 3:23 PM Seattle (25-37) at Toronto (33-29) 1:00 pm EDT

TORONTO (Ticker) - The well-rested Toronto Raptors should be happy to welcome one of the worst road teams in the NBA.

The Atlantic Division-leading Raptors go for back-to-back wins for the first time this month Sunday when they host the Seattle SuperSonics, who are wrapping up a four-game road trip.

Toronto ended a three-game losing streak with a 94-87 triumph over the league-worst Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday.

Raptors guard Juan Dixon looks is getting familiar with his new surroundings, averaging 18.3 points in his last three games, highlighted by his season-high 24 points March 3.

Acquired from Portland at the trading deadline, Dixon has been in the starting lineup the past two games in place of Anthony Parker, who is day to day with a sprained ankle.

On Friday, Seattle fell to a dismal 7-24 away from home with a 118-103 setback to the Boston Celtics. All-Star guard Ray Allen continues to shine despite nagging bone spurs in his left ankle, averaging 28.5 points through his last four games.

The Raptors suffered a 110-97 loss at Seattle on December 23.
