Utah aims to rebound vs. slumping Magic

Mar 14, 2007 - 1:02 PM Utah (43-20) at Orlando (29-36) 7:00 pm EDT

ORLANDO, Florida (Ticker) - The Utah Jazz hope the Magic Kingdom treats them better than South Beach.

The Jazz are looking to bounce back on the second leg of their four-game road trip when they visit All-Star Dwight Howard and the struggling Orlando Magic on Wednesday.

Utah squandered a 14-point lead in an 88-86 loss at Miami on Tuesday. Carlos Boozer led the Jazz with 20 points and 13 rebounds.

"If you're going to grow, you're going to grow in a game like this," Jazz coach Jerry Sloan said.

Following a 13-4 start, Orlando has gone 16-32 and is one game behind Indiana, New York and New Jersey for the final two playoff spots in the Eastern Conference.

The Magic have also dropped five straight games against Western Conference teams.

However, Orlando has won five of its last six matchups with the Jazz, including an 88-75 victory in Utah on November 27 as Howard led the way with 21 points and 16 rebounds.
