Pistons aim to remain unbeaten on road trip

Mar 14, 2007 - 1:54 PM Detroit (40-22) at Portland (26-37) 10:00 pm EDT

PORTLAND, Oregon (Ticker) -- The Detroit Pistons have had little trouble out West.

The Pistons are on the fourth leg of their five-game tour of the Western Conference when they visit the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday.

As the only team from the East with a winning road record at 21-10, Detroit improved to 3-0 on its trip with Tuesday's 101-97 triumph over the Seattle SuperSonics.

Pistons forward Rasheed Wallace returned after serving a one-game suspension for picking up his 17th technical. He had 15 points and three blocks in the win.

"I wasn't gone that long and I have to get warm," Wallace said about his slow start. "This '57 Chevy has to warm up a little bit."

The Blazers, Wallace's former team, are coming off their third setback in four games, a 107-99 defeat at Denver despite 20-point performances from Zach Randolph and rookie LaMarcus Aldridge.

Selected second overall in the 2006 draft out of Texas, Aldridge has been up-and-down since entering the starting lineup at the beginning of the month.

The Pistons have won their last three trips here. But the Blazers won the first meeting this season against Detroit, 88-85, on December 5.
