Arenas, Wizards look to bounce back vs. Sonics
Mar 21, 2007 - 3:12 PM Washington (36-29) at Seattle (26-40) 10:00 pm EDTSEATTLE (Ticker) -- The Washington Wizards may no longer be in first place in the Southeast Division after their five-game road trip is completed.
After opening the trip with a loss at Portland on Tuesday, the Wizards visit the Seattle SuperSonics on Wednesday.
Washington holds just a one-half game lead over Miami, which is 10-3 without injured guard Dwyane Wade, in the Southeast Division. The Heat play at Atlanta on Wednesday.
Seattle snapped a five-game losing streak with a 95-77 victory over Portland on Sunday. Rashard Lewis led four players in double figures with 27 points.
The SuperSonics are opening a three-game homestand at Key Arena, where they have posted an 18-15 record.
Seattle guard Luke Ridnour is averaging just five points in his last two games after missing five games with a herniated disc in his neck.
