Bosh, Raptors seek season sweep of Magic

Apr 4, 2007 - 2:44 PM Toronto (41-33) at Orlando (34-40) 7:00 pm EDT

ORLANDO, Florida (Ticker) - Chris Bosh and the Toronto Raptors look to move closer to the Atlantic Division title Wednesday night when they face the Orlando Magic, whom they have dominated this season.

The Raptors have won all three meetings this season, getting a big boost from Bosh, their All-Star forward. He missed a 91-84 win here December 13 but lit up Orlando for 41 and 34 points in home wins February 7 and March 21.

Having already clinched a playoff berth, the Raptors (41-33) are closing in on the first division title in franchise history.

Any combination of Toronto wins or New Jersey losses totaling three will give one of the top four seeds in the Eastern Conference to the Raptors.

Orlando (34-40) also appears to be bound for the postseason, having opened a two-game lead over Indiana (32-42) for the eighth and final playoff spot.

Looking for their first postseason berth since 2003, the Magic are just one-half game behind New Jersey (34-39) for seventh place.

The Magic have won three of their last five games, with both losses coming in overtime. Sunday's 105-104 home loss to Minnesota dropped Orlando to 0-3 in overtime this season.

Grant Hill has led the Magic in scoring in each of the last three games, averaging nearly 23 points.
