Yao, McGrady questionable as Rockets face Kings

SACRAMENTO, California (Ticker) -- Yao Ming and Tracy McGrady are questionable for Sunday when the Houston Rockets visit the Sacramento Kings.

The Rockets (47-29) have dropped three in a row and trail fourth-seeded Utah (48-28) by one game in the Western Conference.

The superstar duo of Yao and McGrady did not play in Friday's 85-78 loss to Portland. Both are nursing back injuries.

Yao suffered the injury in Wednesday's loss to Golden State after collecting nine points and 11 rebounds in 30 minutes. McGrady played just six minutes in Wednesday's loss before leaving with stiffness in his lower back.

The Kings posted just their third win in their last 12 games, a 107-103 victory over Utah last Friday. John Salmons scored eight points in the final 2:19.

Sacramento has lost two overtime contests to Houston this season by a combined nine points.
