Curry helps Golden State take down Sacramento

Dec 18, 2011 - 6:28 AM Oakland, CA (Sports Network) - Stephen Curry netted 22 points, six rebounds and six assists, as Golden State, under new coach Mark Jackson, began its preseason with a 107-96 win over the Sacramento Kings.

Jackson, who played 17 seasons in the NBA, replaced Keith Smart in the offseason.

Monta Ellis tallied 18 points and eight assists, while David Lee chipped in 16 points and eight boards.

Sacramento committed 20 turnovers, leading to 25 Golden State points. Marcus Thornton and Jimmer Fredette each had 21 points for the Kings. Fredette, the 10th overall pick in this year's draft, went 7-of-11 from the field, including 4-of-6 from beyond the arc.
