Magic entertain Bucks at Amway Center

Feb 17, 2012 - 4:01 PM (Sports Network) - The Orlando Magic take aim at a fourth straight win this evening when they conclude a three-game homestand versus the Milwaukee Bucks at Amway Center.

The Magic continued to roll on Wednesday, as Ryan Anderson scored 27 points on 7-of-10 shooting from beyond the arc and Orlando drained 15 treys overall in a 103-87 rout of the Philadelphia 76ers.

Jameer Nelson tied a career-best with 14 assists and added 12 points, while Dwight Howard also had a double-double with 17 points and 14 rebounds for the Magic, who have won seven of nine.

"We're playing with a lot more energy," Nelson said. "It was a great team effort."

It was the fourth straight game that Howard scored less than his average (20.1) on the season. He has only gotten to the line nine times over the past three games, but still tops the NBA in that category at 10.8 per game.

"Those have always been our better offensive games when we have a lot of people involved," coach Stan Van Gundy said. "Dwight had the most shots (15), he's our best player, but we've got five other guys between eight and 12 shots, so that?s good balance."

Orlando, which is 11-6 in its arena this season, will hit the road for five straight games following tonight's affair.

Milwaukee, meanwhile, has dropped three in a row after falling to the New Orleans Hornets, 92-89, on Wednesday.

The Bucks had five scorers in double figures, including 23 points from Ersan Ilyasova. Brandon Jennings chipped in 18 points for the Bucks, who lost their fifth straight game at Bradley Center.

Milwaukee will close a brief two-game road trip on Sunday in New Jersey. The Bucks are a mere 5-10 away from home this season.

Things don't figure to get any easier for them tonight, as the Bucks have dropped four straight and seven of their last eight meetings with the Magic.

It's been even worse for Milwaukee in Orlando, where they have dropped 11 straight and 12 of 13.
