The Magic are 0-4 on a five-game trek and suffered an 87-86 loss against the Chicago Bulls Friday night. Beno Udrih poured in a season-high 27 points and Nikola Vucevic finished with 16 points and 15 rebounds for the Magic, who have dropped 12 of 13 games and are winless in 10 straight on the road.
"We were right there, we had a chance, we had the final possession but weren't able to score," said Vucevic. "It's a tough loss, but its part of the process."
Tobias Harris posted a double-double of 12 points and 11 boards in defeat.
Orlando is only 8-31 as the visitor and will open a three-game homestand Wednesday versus Milwaukee, Boston and Chicago.
Magic guard Jameer Nelson missed his fourth straight game with a right ankle injury and is questionable Sunday. Rookie forward Maurice Harkless left Friday's game with a sore knee and could return against the Cavs.
Cleveland knows a thing or two about losing players to injury. Kyrie Irving, Anderson Varejao and Dion Waiters have all been victimized by injuries for the Cavaliers, who ended a 10-game slide with Friday's 97-91 win at Boston.
Tristan Thompson posted career-highs of 29 points and 17 rebounds, while Alonzo Gee added 16 points and 10 boards for the Cavaliers, who won for the first time since March 12 against Washington and halted a six-game road skid.
"We had a lot of games where we should have won, and at the end of the day, took the L," Thompson said. "Tonight was our game to win, so we knew we needed to take it and bring it back to Cleveland."
The Cavs look to stop a five-game home losing streak Sunday and are 13-24 at the Q this season. After entertaining the Magic, the Cavaliers will hit the road again to Indiana on Tuesday.
Cleveland is 2-1 against Orlando this season, but only 5-14 in the past 19 meetings between the teams. Orlando has won seven of its last 10 at Cleveland.
