Crawford's jumper lifts Knicks to win

Oct 15, 2006 - 2:13 AM PHILADELPHIA (Ticker) -- Jamal Crawford was a one-man show in the closing moments.

Crawford scored 21 points, including the game-winning jumper with 1.3 seconds left, as the New York Knicks posted a 102-100 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers in a preseason matchup.

Eddy Curry added 25 points and 10 rebounds and Nate Robinson had 15 points for the Knicks, who won their second straight exhibition game.

After New York first-round pick Mardy Collins drew a charge against Andre Iguodala with 24 seconds to go, Crawford - who scored 11 of his team's final 12 points - let the clock wind down before drilling a jumper from the top of the key for a 102-100 edge.

Following a timeout by Philadelphia, Kyle Korver - who had 24 points - missed a long 3-pointer as time expired.

Iguodala netted 21 points and Shavlik Randolph added 13 for the Sixers, who shot 38 percent (33-of-86) from the field.

Philadelphia first-round selection Rodney Carney shot just 1-of-8 in 21 minutes, finishing with four points. Allen Iverson collected 12 points and eight assists in 24 minutes.
