Frye scored nine points in the period to pace Phoenix, which outscored the Cavaliers by a 25-6 margin. Cleveland went 2-of-22 from the field as they watched the visitors grab a 68-67 edge.
"I think (the Cavaliers) only scored six points in the third quarter, so it was really good defense," Dragic said. "I think in the end, we deserved that win. We didn't hang our heads and we just kept playing."
Phoenix started the fourth frame on a 13-3 run. Morris tallied eight points during the surge that Leandro Barbosa capped with a layup for an 81-70 margin.
Cleveland fought back and was within three, 90-87, following Irving's jumper with 1:34 to play. Frye responded with a 3-pointer to make it a six-point contest.
