Rockets welcome Pistons to Space City
Mar 1, 2014 - 2:50 PM (SportsNetwork.com) - The Houston Rockets will try to regroup from a tough loss against one of the NBA's best when they host the Detroit Pistons Saturday at the Toyota Center.Houston suffered a 101-93 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday, as Dwight Howard led the way with 23 points and 11 rebounds. One game after scoring 43 points in a win at Sacramento, James Harden was held to 18 points in the finale of a five-game western trek (3-2).
"They made a couple of big shots and we missed shots. We couldn't generate anything. We didn't play a very complete game. We have to quit throwing the ball to the other team," said Rockets coach Kevin McHale said.
Jordan Hamilton scored 16 points for the Rockets, who had won 10 of 11 games.
The Rockets will also host the Miami Heat on their quick homestand and have won four in a row as the host. They have a 22-7 record in Space City and sit fifth in the West standings.

"That team is a great team, they know how to capitalize on another team's mistakes," Smith said of the Spurs.
Andre Drummond ended with 16 points and grabbed 17 rebounds, while Brandon Jennings had no points in 13 minutes of action and left the game with a toe injury. He is listed as questionable and leads the team with 16.9 ppg.
