Kobe plays sparingly as Lakers reserves down Bobcats
Oct 21, 2007 - 5:10 AM LOS ANGELES (Ticker) -- Kobe Bryant played sparingly in his second preseason game but it did not matter.Vladimir Radmanovic scored 14 points and Derek Fisher added 13 as the Los Angeles Lakers posted a 113-93 victory over the Charlotte Bobcats in a preseason contest on Saturday.
Bryant, who forced the Lakers to place him on the trading block, played just 21 minutes and scored six points on 2-of-5 shooting.
The disgruntled nine-time All-Star guard made his first preseason appearance on Friday and scored 20 points.
In this one though, he was barely on the court. Instead he watched as the Lakers shot 57 percent (45-of-79) from the floor and 56 percent (9-of-16) from the arc.
Gerald Wallace scored 28 points and new addition Jason Richardson added 18 for Charlotte, which shot just 38 percent (30-of-79) and lost Adam Morrison, who injured his knee in the third quarter.
