AUBURN HILLS, Michigan (Ticker) - Jarvis Hayes gave the Washington Wizards a reminder of what they let get away.

Hayes scored 21 points off the bench as the Detroit Pistons posted a 104-85 preseason victory over the Wizards on Wednesday.

Rasheed Wallace scored 17 and grabbed seven rebounds and Chauncey Billups and Tayshaun Prince each scored 12 for Detroit, which led by three points at the end of the first quarter, 11 at halftime and 22 to begin the final period.

Hayes, who spent the first four seasons of his NBA career with Washington, was hampered by injuries during most of his time with the Wizards.

The 26-year-old signed with Detroit as a free agent during the summer and is being counted on to provide some relief for Prince at small forward.

Hayes connected on 8-of-13 from the floor, including two 3-pointers for the Pistons, who made 11-of-15 shot from the arc and finished the exhibition season with a 4-4 record.

However, It might have been a costly win for Detroit as first-round draft pick Rodney Stuckey suffered a broken left wrist.

No timetable was given for how long the high-scoring guard from Eastern Washington will be out and the team said Stuckey will be re-evaluated on Thursday.

Antawn Jamison scored 14 points and Caron Butler and rookie Nick Young each added 12 for Washington, which shot 40 percent (33-of-83).
