MEMPHIS, Tennessee (Ticker) - This time the Memphis Grizzlies didn't need double overtime or Kyle Lowry to beat the Houston Rockets.

Hakim Warrick scored 17 points to lead six Grizzlies in double figures as Memphis notched its second win over Houston in as many nights with a 96-90 preseason victory at FedEx Forum on Wednesday.

Rudy Gay scored 16 points and Stromile Swift and Tarence Kinsey each scored 12 for Memphis, which had one night earlier defeated Houston, 109-107, in double overtime.

The Grizzlies won that game when Lowry's tip-in at the buzzer provided the winning margin.

Wednesday's victory was the third straight for Memphis, which continues to play without star forward Pau Gasol, who is listed as day-to-day with a mild left ankle sprain.

The Grizzlies, who shot 45 percent (35-of-78), also played without Mike Miller, who was given the night off.

Kirk Snyder scored 11 points and Aaron Brooks and Steve Novak each added 10 for Houston, which also shot 45 percent (37-of-82).
