Kaman, Thomas help Clippers sneak by Kings

Oct 25, 2007 - 5:31 AM LOS ANGELES (Ticker) -- Chris Kaman scored 19 points and Tim Thomas added 11, including the go-ahead jumper in the final seconds, as the Los Angeles Clippers posted a 92-90 preseason victory over the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday.

Kaman also grabbed nine rebounds while Cuttino Mobley added 11 points for Los Angeles, which shot 47 percent from the floor (31-of-66).

Mike Bibby scored 28 points and Kevin Martin added 14 for Sacramento, which shot just 38 percent (29-of-75) from the floor.

Bibby had an outstanding game, shooting 11-of-19 from the floor and 6-of-10 from 3-point range.

Clippers first-round pick Al Thornton scored eight points on 3-of-8 shooting.

The Kings were without first-round pick Spencer Hawes, who had arthroscopic knee surgery on October 2.
