Nuggets open four-game homestand vs. James, Cavaliers

Nov 12, 2007 - 3:13 PM Cleveland (4-3) at Denver (4-3) 9:00 pm EST

DENVER (Ticker) -- The Denver Nuggets return back from the East Coast ready to open a four-game homestand on Monday against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

After dropping the first two games of their road trip, the Nuggets got back on the right track to capture the final two, including Saturday's 113-106 triumph at Indiana.

Denver's Carmelo Anthony has been impressive in both wins, pouring in 32 points during that stretch.

Cleveland, meanwhile, also enters with a two-game winning streak following Sunday's 103-95 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers.

Zydrunas Ilgauskas scored 25 points and James chipped in 22, eight assists and six steals as the Cavaliers aim to end their six-game tour of the Western Conference on a positive note.

Ilgauskas is off to one of his best starts in recent seasons, posting double digits in scoring in all but one contest this campaign. He is averaging 16.1 points in 14 career games against the Nuggets.

James might take this matchup a little personally as he tries to earn bragging rights over Anthony, whose team owns a 6-2 edge in the series since both were drafted in 2003.
