Struggling Cavaliers take on streaking Jazz

Nov 16, 2007 - 3:23 PM Utah (7-2) at Cleveland (4-5) 7:30 pm EST

CLEVELAND (Ticker) - While the Cleveland Cavaliers continue to search for their 2006-07 form, the Utah Jazz have picked up right where they left off last season.

The Jazz look to extend their five game win streak when they face the Cavaliers on Friday.

Utah, which reached the Western Conference finals last season before falling to eventual champion San Antonio Spurs, is off to another hot start this season after beginning the 2006-07 campaign with 12 wins in its first 13 games.

Carlos Boozer has led the Jazz to the strong start, averaging 25.8 points and 12.4 rebounds in nine games this season and ranks sixth in the NBA in both categories.

The Cavs, meanwhile, have stumbled out of the starting gate after being swept by the Spurs in the NBA finals last season.

LeBron James has done his part to win games, ranking second in the league with 28 points per game. The 22-year-old phenom has also gotten his teammates involved and is eighth in the NBA with 7.9 assists per game.
