Bosh, Raptors survive late charge by Pacers

TORONTO (Ticker) - Chris Bosh scored 22 points to lead six players in double figures as the Toronto Raptors snapped their three-game home losing streak with Friday's 110-101 victory over the Indiana Pacers on Friday.

Jose Calderon had 15 points and 10 assists off the bench and T.J. Ford and Anthony Parker also scored 15 for the Raptors, who sent the Pacers to their sixth straight loss.

"Anytime you can keep pressure at that point guard position a whole game, it's trouble for the other team," Bosh said. "They (Ford and Calderon) were dishing it out, finding people and hitting their shots."

Toronto opened the second half on an impressive 16-4 burst, highlighted by seven points by Ford, who converted a three-point play with 6:47 left in the third quarter for a 67-60 edge.

But Indiana answered back with a 12-6 run to close within 73-72 on a 3-pointer by Troy Murphy at the 2:30 mark. Murphy finished with a season-best 20 points off the bench.

Parker hit a 66-foot buzzer-beater during an 11-4 surge that helped create an 87-78 with 10:33 remaining. Jason Kapono drained two 3-pointers in the stretch.

"I looked up and saw that I had time, so I thought to just throw it up and see what happens, and it went in," Parker said. "I think it gave us a little momentum going into the fourth quarter."

The Pacers remained close in the fourth, getting within two on a jumper by Murphy at the 5:36 mark, but Calderon hit a 20-footer and Carlos Delfino nailed a shot from the arc with 4:15 left to regain control, 97-90.

"It's a relief to get the win but now we have to keep it going," Bosh said. "We have to play with intensity and good defense to defend our home court and we were able to do that."

"It seemed like every time we got close they hit big shots," Murphy said.

Jamaal Tinsley scored 20 points and Jermaine O'Neal added 14 and seven rebounds for Indiana, which shot 43 percent (36-of-82) from the field.

"During our last five or six games, we've been having good first halves but can't seem to put it together in the second half," O'Neal said. "Until we play better defense and have better shot selection for the whole game, we are going to struggle."
