High-scoring Jazz aim to get back on track vs. Pacers

Nov 17, 2007 - 2:24 PM Utah (7-3) at Indiana (3-6) 7:00 pm EST

INDIANAPOLIS (Ticker) - Deron Williams and the Utah Jazz will try and snap out of their offensive funk when they visit the Indiana Pacers on Saturday.

Utah, which is averaging 108.1 points, is coming off consecutive sub-par offensive games and Williams has been one of the main culprits.

The third-year point guard has shot just 37 percent (12-of-32) in the past two games, and Utah's offensive production has tailed off.

Williams shot just 4-of-17 and scored 11 points in a 99-94 loss to Cleveland on Friday. Carlos Boozer was the lone starter to score more than 12 points for the Jazz, who shot just 40.5 percent (34-of-84) from the floor.

That performance came on the heels of a 92-88 win over Toronto on Wednesday in which Utah shot just 42.9 percent (33-of-77). Prior to those two poor showings, the Jazz had scored 100 points or more in five straight games.

However, Williams and Utah have a great opportunity to get back on track against Indiana, which has lost six straight.

Troy Murphy and Jamaal Tinsley scored 20 points apiece in the Pacers' 110-101 loss to Toronto on Friday.

Indiana, which started the season with three straight wins, is in the midst of its longest losing streak since an 11-game slide from February 23 - March 14 of last season.
