Hawks aim to rebound vs. Bucks

Nov 17, 2007 - 2:43 PM Atlanta (3-5) at Milwaukee (3-4) 8:30 pm EST

MILWAUKEE (Ticker) - The Atlanta Hawks will try bounce back when they met the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday night.

Joe Johnson poured in a season-best 39 points but it wasn't enough as rookie Kevin Durant' 3-pointer at the buzzer sent the Hawks to a 126-123 double-overtime loss to the Seattle SuperSonics on Friday.

"We came out a little flat to start the game," Hawks swingman Josh Childress said. "That happens over the course of the season. The important thing was that we were able to bounce back in the second half."

Al Horford, one of the Hawks' first-round picks, continues to be a positive off the bench for coach Mike Woodson. The 21-year-old has managed to grab double-digit rebounds in seven of nine games the season.

Michael Redd scored 31 points and Andrew Bogut chipped in 23 and 12 boards as Milwaukee ended its two-game slide with Wednesday's 102-99 victory over Memphis.

Since inking a multi-year contract in the offseason, Bucks guard Mo Williams has struggled to regain his form from a season ago. He is averaging 12.3 points - almost five fewer than the 2006-07 campaign.

The Hawks dropped two of three meetings against the Bucks last year, including a 102-96 decision here on April 16.
