Kings looks to continue home-court success vs. Pistons

Nov 18, 2007 - 2:01 PM Detroit (6-3)at Sacramento (3-6) 9:00 pm EST

SACRAMENTO, California (Ticker) -- Even though the Sacramento Kings are struggling to find their way this season, they have been much more comfortable in friendly surroundings.

The Kings go for their fourth home win in five chances on Sunday when they host the Detroit Pistons.

Kevin Martin scored a career-high 43 points on Friday night, leading the Kings to a 123-118 double-overtime triumph over the New York Knicks.

Ron Artest - in just his second game back after serving a seven-game suspension - played 53 minutes and added 28 points for the Kings, who are trying to recover from a 20-21 mark at Arco Arena last season.

The Pistons would like to conclude their five-game road swing with a win against the Kings after suffering their second loss on their West Coast trip in a 103-91 setback against the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday.

Detroit once again was missing Chauncey Billups and Antonio McDyess, both of whom were hurt in a 102-94 loss at Portland on Tuesday night and are listed as day-to-day. Billups has a right hip pointer and sore left knee, and McDyess has a strained left shoulder.

Tayshaun Prince and Richard Hamilton each scored 16 points to pace the Pistons, who held the Lakers to 39 percent (35-of-91) shooting from the field.
