Mavericks look to extend home dominance over Raptors
Nov 20, 2007 - 4:49 PM Toronto (5-5) at Dallas (7-2) 8:30 pm ESTDALLAS (Ticker) -- Success at home is nothing new for the Dallas Mavericks. Count the Toronto Raptors as one of the teams who know that all too well.
The Mavericks look to continue their long history of success at home against the Raptors on Tuesday.
Since Dallas hosted its first game at American Airlines Center in 2001, the Mavericks have won at least 28 home games in every season, including a league-best and franchise record-tying 36 in 2006-07.
Part of that success is a result of regularly defeating Toronto, which has never won here.
The Mavericks improved to 5-0 at home this season with Saturday's 108-105 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies.
Josh Howard scored 27 points for Dallas, which has won its home games by an average margin of 12.2 this season.
The Raptors hope to bounce back from Sunday's 106-100 loss to the Golden State Warriors.
T.J. Ford had 29 points, nine assists and six rebounds for Toronto, which fell to 2-4 at home this season.
