Kings, Suns battle in finale of home-and-home series

Nov 21, 2007 - 3:20 PM Sacramento (9-2) at Phoenix (4-7) 9:00 pm EST

PHOENIX (Ticker) -- The Sacramento Kings hope to get things right against the Phoenix Suns this time around.

The Kings look to bounce back Wednesday when they visit the surging Suns in the finale of a home-and-home series.

Amare Stoudemire scored six of his 26 points in the final minutes of the fourth quarter Tuesday as Phoenix held on for a 100-98 triumph over the Kings at Arco Arena.

"We should have put them away earlier," Stoudemire said. "They were doing a great job of switching. We were able to get it inside, and I was able to hit my foul shots. That was the difference in the game."

Suns guard Raja Bell's status is questionable after injuring his right ankle during pre-game warm-ups Tuesday.

Sacramento's Ron Artest turned in his best outing of the season, collecting 33 points and 12 rebounds. The troubled forward missed the first seven games this season due to a suspension.

The Kings will need a better effort out of center Brad Miller, who fouled out with only six points on Tuesday. He had scored in double figures in four straight games.

Coach Reggie Theus looks to guide Sacramento to its first road win over Phoenix since capturing a 118-117 victory on November 6, 2005.
