Magic looking to start winning streak at home

Nov 23, 2007 - 3:40 PM Charlotte (6-5) at Orlando (10-3) 7:00 pm EST

ORLANDO, Florida (Ticker) -- The Orlando Magic have been one of the NBA's best road teams this season. The focus now shifts to having similar success at home.

Coming off their first road loss of the season, Dwight Howard and the Magic begin a two-game homestand Friday against the Charlotte Bobcats.

The Magic dropped a 128-110 decision Wednesday to the San Antonio Spurs, who ended handed Orlando its first road loss in eight contests.

Howard had 34 points and 16 rebounds while Hedo Turkoglu scored 26 points for the Magic, who had their five-game winning streak snapped.

Orlando looks to bounce back two days later against Charlotte, which also is looking to rebound from Wednesday's 114-111 overtime loss to the Washington Wizards.

Raymond Felton had 27 points and 12 assists, Gerald Wallace scored 25 points and Emeka Okafor had 20 points and 14 rebounds for the Bobcats, who had their two-game winning streak snapped.

Each team has won six games in the all-time series, but Orlando is 5-1 at home. The two teams split four games last year, with the home team winning each time.
