James, Cavaliers aim to solve home woes vs. Raptors

Nov 24, 2007 - 2:12 PM Toronto (6-6) at Cleveland (6-6) 1:00 pm EST

CLEVELAND (Ticker) -- LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers have struggled defending their home court early in the season.

James and the Cavaliers will look for better results at home win they host the Toronto Raptors on Saturday.

Cleveland, which won 15 of its first 18 games here last season en route to an appearance in the Finals, has lost three of five here thus far.

James certainly has not been the cause of their home struggles. The fifth-year pro matched his season high with 45 points in a 97-86 win over Minnesota on Wednesday.

The 22-year-old has been on tear lately, averaging 39.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and 8.8 assists in his last four games.

James has also enjoyed great success against Toronto, averaging 30.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and 6.5 assists in helping the Cavaliers win three of the four meetings a season ago. He registered his career-high of 56 points vs. Toronto in March of 2005, but Cleveland lost that game 105-98.

Meanwhile, the Raptors snapped a four-game losing streak with a 95-89 home win over Memphis on Wednesday, but have not had much success here lately.

Toronto has dropped five straight here and has not won in Cleveland since a 97-86 victory on April 6, 2004.
