Davis leads surging Warriors into Philadelphia
Nov 24, 2007 - 2:17 PM Golden State (4-7) at Philadelphia (3-8) 7:00 pm ESTPHILADELPHIA (Ticker) - Baron Davis and Stephen Jackson appear to have the Golden State Warriors back on track.
The Warriors will look to continue their hot road trip when they visit the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday.
Davis recorded a triple-double in Friday's 123-115 win over the Washington Wizards, collecting 33 points, 15 assists and 11 rebounds. He has scored more than 30 points in two of his last three games.
After beginning the season with six straight losses, the Warriors have won four of their last five contests.
On Saturday, Golden State will be looking to finish up its five-game East Coast road trip with a 4-1 record.
The 76ers have not been quite as successful lately, losing six of their last seven games, including an 83-78 setback at Detroit on Friday.
Offense has been at the root of Philadelphia's issues, as they rank 27th in the NBA in scoring at 89.2 points per game. Andre Iguodala averaged 17.5 points, but shoots just over 43 percent from the field.
