Jazz face Knicks looking to improve road record

Nov 26, 2007 - 2:36 PM Utah (10-4) at New York (3-9) 7:30 pm EST

NEW YORK (Ticker) -- A pair of teams heading in opposite directions square off Monday when the Utah Jazz visit the New York Knicks.

The Jazz enter riding a three-game winning streak and in first place in the Northwest Division.

Utah began a three-game road trip Sunday with a 103-93 victory against the Detroit Pistons.

Carlos Boozer went 17-for-20 from the field and finished with a season-high 36 points for the Jazz, while Deron Williams had 21 points and a season-high 14 assists. Williams has been battling a toe injury in recent weeks.

The victory helped the Jazz end a two-game road skid.

The Knicks, with the rumors continuing to swirl about the status of coach Isiah Thomas, ended an eight-game losing streak Saturday with an 85-78 victory over the visiting Chicago Bulls.
