Bulls trying to get on track against Hawks

Nov 27, 2007 - 3:54 PM Atlanta (5-7) at Chicago (2-10) 8:30 pm EST

CHICAGO (Ticker) -- The Chicago Bulls try to get their season on track Tuesday when they host the Atlanta Hawks.

The Bulls have been one of the NBA's worst teams this season and enter Tuesday's contest mired in a four-game losing streak.

Chicago trailed by just two in the fourth quarter against the Toronto Raptors on Sunday, but ended up with a 93-78 loss after being outscored by 13 points during the final nine minutes.

The Bulls are the lowest-scoring team in the NBA, averaging just 86.5 points per game, and are shooting a league-worst 38.5 percent from the field.

However, Chicago has a strong chance of ending its slide against the Hawks, who have lost 11 straight against the Bulls dating to 2004.

But, the Hawks enter the game with back-to-back wins on their current three-game road trip - including a 94-87 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday.

Atlanta rallied back from a 10-point fourth-quarter deficit for the second straight game on Saturday after erasing the same deficit against the Miami Heat on Wednesday.

The Hawks had lost 17 straight road games before the victory in Miami and look for a perfect three-game road trip for the first time since 1997.
